Virtual Programming

In response to the coronavirus pandemic, your Livingston Parish Library is presenting all programming and events in a virtual format.
All virtual events and programs will be available on the library's Facebook, Instagram, and YouTube channel.
Every Monday, Livingston Parish Library is offering a virtual storytime for babies through age 11. Storytime helps develop pre-reading skills while children and their caregivers have lots of fun.
Catch a new Virtual Storytime every Monday at 10:00 a.m.
Bedtime Storytime airs every Monday at 6:00 p.m.

Join us every Tuesday at 10:00 a.m. for a virtual session of fun arts and crafts geared for kids of all ages. Each week features a new craft. Visit your local branch to grab a free craft kit, then join us online as we complete the craft together. Craft kits available while supplies last.

If you’ve ever been entranced watching the flying fingers of the sign language interpreter during a press conference, here’s your chance to learn the basics of American Sign Language (ASL). Join LPL staff in this 7-week, beginner-level course, as we study letters, numbers, greetings, food, colors, and other basics of this expressive form of communication.
Signing Saturday will be held virtually every Saturday at 1:00 p.m. beginning January 9.
