The Livingston Parish Library will host a four-part Master Gardener series throughout September, offering community members hands-on gardening education covering fruit tree care, organic fertilization, native landscaping, and a plant swap.
This series is designed for gardeners of every experience level and will be held across multiple branch locations. Sessions are free and open to ages 18+. The series concludes with the Plant Swap, a community event where gardeners can trade clippings, seeds, and full plants with one another.
The series is being presented in partnership with the Livingston Parish chapter of the LSU AgCenter's Louisiana Master Gardener Program.
