The Livingston Parish Library will host a Ballet Soirée performance at the Denham Springs-Walker Branch on Friday, June 5, at 9:30 a.m. The branch is located at 8101 US Hwy. 190 in Denham Springs.
The Ballet Soirée is part of Baton Rouge Ballet Theatre's Youth Ballet’s annual summer tour, a popular community outreach program that brings classical and contemporary dance to audiences across the greater Baton Rouge area.
The program is designed to foster the advancement of dance while showcasing the talents of the company's younger performers in a series of public performances throughout the city.
Open to all ages, the upcoming Ballet Soirée production will feature excerpts from Swan Lake, Cinderella, Sleeping Beauty, and Beach Club.
This performance is part of the Livingston Parish Library’s 2026 Summer Reading Program, an annual reading challenge that rewards participants for reading books and attending LPL events. This year’s theme is Unearth A Story, highlighting the amazing discoveries that await at your local library!
