National touring production of ‘Bullysaurus Rex’ coming to Livingston Parish Library

The Livingston Parish Library is pleased to announce that Bright Star Theatre, a nationally recognized professional touring theatre company based in North Carolina, will bring its critically acclaimed production of Bullysaurus Rex to all Livingston Parish Library branches on June 17–18, 2026.

All performances are free and open to the public.

Bullysaurus Rex is a lively theatrical experience designed to spark important conversations about bullying in a way that resonates with young audiences. Through vibrant costumes, physical comedy, and plenty of dino-sized heart, Bright Star Theatre's talented performers will bring to life a cast of lovable dinosaurs who face the same social challenges children encounter every day – learning to recognize bullying, report it to trusted adults, and stand up for themselves and their friends.

Families, educators, and caregivers will find Bullysaurus Rex as entertaining as it is meaningful.

This production is part of the Library's dinosaur-themed Summer Reading Program, which runs through August 2. For more information, visit www.mylpl.info/events/summer-reading/.
