Nature on the Geaux to bring wildlife encounters to all five Livingston Parish Library branches

The Livingston Parish Library is excited to welcome Nature on the Geaux for Animals Around the World, a live, hands-on animal experience for all ages. 

Tanee Janusz, an environmental educator and skilled animal keeper with more than 25 years of experience, will visit all five LPL branches June 9–11. Janusz and Nature on the Geaux have brought engaging wildlife education to schools, universities, camps, retirement communities, daycares, and festivals throughout southeast Louisiana and parts of Mississippi. 

Attendees will get up close with Nature on the Geaux's "animal ambassadors" a fascinating lineup that includes snakes, reptiles, turtles, ferrets, spiders, and more. Whether you're a curious kid or a lifelong nature lover, this interactive presentation is sure to inspire. 

Animals Around the World is part of the Library's Summer Reading Program, which runs through August 2. Admission is free and open to the public.
