Calling all local non-profits!

Are you looking for a chance to promote the incredible work of your non-profit organization? We invite you to apply to participate in the Livingston Parish Library's upcoming Book-Con, a day-long celebration of books, fandoms, and more!

This event is scheduled for Saturday, September 19, 2026, at our Main Branch in Livingston. Those who are interested should review the information below before filling out the participation request form.

Important Details

There are no fees for participation. Participation is completely free.

We reserve the right to decline applicants. Submitting a form does not guarantee placement in this event. All applicants will be contacted to confirm participation.

This is a family-friendly event. All booths must align with Livingston Parish Library (LPL) standards. We reserve the right to decline applications that do not meet these guidelines.

Apply before the deadline. The deadline for all applications is Wednesday, September 9, 2026. However, applications will be reviewed on a first-come, first-serve basis, and space is limited.

Event Information

Date: Saturday, September 19, 2026

Time: 11 a.m. – 4 p.m.

Location: Outdoor area at the Livingston Parish Library’s Main Branch (20390 Iowa Street, Livingston, LA 70754). Note: Electricity is not available.

Accommodations

Outdoor space: The Library will provide outdoor space for non-profit organizations as space allows.

Tables, chairs, and tents: All non-profit organizations must provide their own tables, chairs, and tent (no larger than 10’x10’) to participate.

Participation requirements

Arrival: Participants should plan no later than 10 a.m. to set up for the event. This event will end at 4 p.m. To be considered for future events, participants must arrive on time and plan to stay for the duration of the event.

Monitoring: Organizations are responsible for setting up, monitoring, and cleaning up their spaces and materials.

Sales: The Library will not assist with any sales.
