Board Game Collection

The Livingston Parish Library has board games available for patrons to check out!

Board games are available in a variety of styles of play that inspire continued learning, constructive play, and critical thinking.

The Library's collection of more than 100 games features something for all ages, including for preschoolers, elementary ages, tweens, teens, adults, and families. It includes card, cooperative, party, educational, classic, and strategic games for all skill levels.

Below are the patron types that can check out board games:

• Adult
• Educator
• Senior Citizen 
• Reciprocal Borrower
• Louisiana Resident

Below are the check out rules: 

• Patrons may check out two (2) games per card at a time.
• Board games may be checked out for up to one (1) week.
• Board games may be renewed one (1) time if there are no holds on the item.
• Board games can be placed on hold and picked up at a patron's preferred branch.
• Board games must be returned to the circulation desk of the patron's nearest branch. They cannot be returned to the drop box.

Board games are available at all five branches. You can visit your nearest branch to browse their collection in person or search our online catalog.
