About Louisiana Art & Science Museum Cultural Pass

In partnership with the Louisiana Art & Science Museum, Livingston Parish Library cardholders can now check out a Cultural Pass for a free visit to the museum located in Downtown Baton Rouge.

Each LASM Cultural Pass provides general admission for one person of any age. However, first responders and children ages 2 and under are admitted for free and do not require a pass. All planetarium shows (on the hour, every hour) and all galleries and activities are included in admission. Free admission is to all LASM attendees on the first Sunday of each month, so no pass is required.

Check Out Rules

Each LASM Cultural Pass provides general admission for one person of any age. However, first responders and children ages 2 and under are admitted for free and do not require a pass. Each Cultural Pass is good for one visit only for one person.

Library cardholders are limited to one reservation of four (4) tickets within a twelve (12) month period.

Passes are available for LPL cardholders ages 18 and older who live in Livingston Parish and whose account is in good standing.

Cultural Passes are only available for the following library cardholder types: Adult, Educator, and Senior Citizen.

LASM Cultural Passes do not need to be returned to the Library.

Housed in a historic railroad depot on the banks of the Mississippi River, the Louisiana Art & Science Museum offers educational entertainment for visitors of all ages. The art galleries showcase changing fine art exhibitions and selections from the permanent collection. Louisiana Art & Science Museum serves the community through lectures, workshops, classes, teacher in-services, camps, and other programming. The Museum is accredited by the American Alliance of Museums and is a member of the Association of Science and Technology Centers.
