How LPL's quarantine process may affect returns being reflected on your account.
Have you recently received an overdue notification from LPL about a book or a movie you know you returned? Not to worry, our quarantine process is likely the reason. As part of LPL’s efforts to mitigate the spread of COVID-19, all materials returned to any LPL location are held in quarantine for a minimum of three days before being processed. This may result in a delay in the return being reflected on your account. We apologize for the inconvenience.
The good news is that LPL is a fine free library, so we do not charge late fees. If you do miss a due date, please return items within 45 days of the due date to avoid a replacement fee. If you have any questions or concerns about your account, please contact us.
