Join us to celebrate the start of the Library's Annual Summer Reading Program with a special Kickoff Day!

Don't miss your chance to sign up for the Library's Summer Reading Program at your local branch during our special kickoff day on Tuesday, May 28! Kids can make a fun summer reading-themed craft while caretakers handle sign-up for themselves and the kids. Plus, in addition to receiving a registration prize when you sign up for this year's Summer Reading Program, participants who attend Kickoff Day will receive a special gift. Register for summer reading in person on Kickoff Day, or knock it off your to-do list before you come. Either way, you'll receive that additional kickoff prize if you stop by any of our five branches on Tuesday, May 28. We will have special prizes for kids, teens, and adults.

It's time for an adventure.

The 2024 Summer Reading Program theme is "Adventure Begins at Your Library." Patrons of all ages are invited to participate by attending fun events hosted by the library and completing reading challenges.

This year's program consists of four age groups: Read-to-Me (babies – age 5), Youth (ages 6-12), Teens (ages 13-18), and Adults (ages 18 and older). All age groups can officially begin registering for summer reading on Monday, May 20; however, each of our five branches will host our special kickoff day festivities on Tuesday, May 28 (the day after Memorial Day).
