    Discover the history, influence, and social impact of American blues music through songs, stories and historical facts. Follow the influence of blues on virtually all styles of contemporary music over the past seven decades and learn how the blues transcended racial boundaries, brought people together in times of celebration and healing, and how it made the great migration from the rural south to the urban north. A lifelong career musician, Joey Leone has toured and recorded with many high-profile artists including Etta James, The Coasters, Sam & Dave, Wilson Pickett, Chaka Khan, and many more.

    Hit Songs & Stories of the 60s, 70s, and 80s: Friday,  June 11 at 7:00 p.m.
    Take an in-depth yet lighthearted look at the songs that came out of our AM radios during the golden age of rock and roll. Focused on unforgettable songs recorded by prolific hit makers, fun facts, musical insights and personal stories will bring back to life the music that gave us so many “AM Radio Memories.

    In the history of popular music, there has always been one phenomenon that has permeated every trend in music throughout the decades, the “one hit wonder.” Meet the recording artists who, by some magical turn of events, were able to come up with a timeless recording that would etch their names in the world of “where are they now.” Some became big names, while others were never to be heard from again.
