With the new school year underway, the Livingston Parish Library is reminding patrons about the valuable resources available through Homework Louisiana, an innovative educational database designed to support learners of all ages.

Through Homework Louisiana, LPL patrons have no-cost access to personalized tutoring and drop-off review services, test prep and self-paced resources, and job search assistance, seven days a week.

Homework Louisiana tutors are rigorously vetted subject-matter experts, and they provide personalized learning sessions that focus on conceptual learning and critical thinking – not just quick answers. Tutors are available daily from 10 a.m. – midnight (12 a.m.) so learners of all ages and stages can get help anytime, anywhere, from any internet-connected device.

Tutoring is available anywhere in Louisiana, with no appointment needed. With more than 4,000 tutors in nearly 200 subjects (including many available in Spanish), Homework Louisiana is able to help learners from kindergarten through basic college level reach their academic or career goals.

Students can also access self-study tools such as practice quizzes, video lessons, SAT and ACT courses, AP test resources, and more.

Services like Homework Louisiana are a powerful example of how libraries support lifelong learning and open doors for young people. By providing free, high-quality academic and career resources, libraries help students succeed, adults advance, and families thrive.

So whether you’re tackling tough math problems, writing an essay, or studying for a big exam, take advantage of this incredible resource provided by the State Library of Louisiana.
