Get ready for the return of the Livingston Parish Library’s “Threadition” series, back by popular demand!

This adult program will be held on Saturdays in September at the South Branch, located at 23477 LA Hwy. 444, Livingston, LA, 70754.

The traditional art of embroidery was once a common practice but has since been overlooked. We invite you to discover advanced stitches and techniques that were used by previous generations to create stunning artwork. The possibilities for this art form are endless, from embellishing practical items like napkins and pillowcases to designing samplers and wall hangings.

In this intermediate-level workshop, participants will expand their knowledge of hand embroidery as they learn to embroider a Pumpkin Sampler.

This four-part series is for ages 18 and up, and participants must attend all four classes to complete the craft.

Registration is required as seats are limited. To register, visit www.mylpl.info and click on the“Events” tab.
